Search Lorain Court Records

Lorain Municipal Traffic Court Records

People seeking case documents related to speeding citations or other moving violations can contact the Lorain Municipal Court.

Although in-person requests are permitted, the court encourages citizens to use the online resources provided, namely, the general case search database and the payment-focused Record Search portal.

Record Search allows users to enter a case or citation number to bring up traffic violation records. Where no case or citation number is available, the searcher may locate those by running a name search on the court's dedicated case search website.

Should an insurer or employer request a physical or certified copy, the Clerk can provide the relevant information for a fee. One can visit the courthouse during regular business hours or submit a written request by mail.
